I just bought a machine and I'm really disappointed so far. Should I return it? It's normal for your first try to be a little underwhelming.

Where can I find videos of guys using milking machines?

There aren't very many out there. 😦 There aren't too many people willing or able to invest $1000+ in solo sex accessories.

Can I watch/join people milking on video chat here?

We are a very small server, but sometimes you can catch people in the server's video/voice chat channels. If you do see someone hanging out in there, feel free to watch, and if you have a machine, join in yourself!

If you want a partner to milk with NOW, you are unlikely to find one. Try the [[Different Strokes Discord server instead.

Can I meet up with someone to try out a machine before buying?

Admin note Apart from this being a terrible idea during the pandemic... again, we are a very small server and there is only a very slim chance someone is near enough and willing enough for this to be practical.

As outlined above, your first experience with a machine might be disappointing because it takes a while to learn your preferences and all the tricks of using a machine effectively.

If you do meet up with someone to try out their milking machine, though, always PLAY SAFE. Buy your own receiver. We are not responsible for any damage or personal harm if you pursue this.

Are there any machines that collect your semen into a container?

The machines with 'receivers' that stroke your cock (Venus, Tremblr, NimbleStroker) all retain lube, precum, semen, and other fluids within, without them getting sucked out into a collection jar.

How loud are these machines?

The Venus and Fleshlight Launch/Kiiroo Keon are about as loud as an ink jet printer.

The Tremblr has a fan which anonl8tx reports “is noisy .. about 56db.”

The NimbleStroker at low to mid stroke speeds is reasonably quiet, on par with the Venus. It gets only a little bit noisier than the Venus at max stroke speed. However, adding vibration will increase the amount of noise it makes, and at max vibration, the noise is very loud, and the whole unit vibrates enough to shift itself along the floor!

The pulsation unit for the SeriousKit is eardrum-splittingly loud! You can use a long hose to keep it in another room but it's still loud. Not to mention the vacuum pump required for it can also get pretty loud.

If you are very self-conscious or worried about being discovered by housemates or a partner, put on some music while you play, or try e-stim if you want something absolutely silent.

What kind of lube should I use?

Absolutely stick to water-based lubes. Silicone lubes may work for a much longer time, but they are very difficult to clean up entirely, and may also degrade the liner material over time.

Favorites here include:

• Swiss Navy water based
• ID Glide
• J-Lube

Some Venus users report Lubilicious and Swiss Navy lube lasts forever and doesn't require re-lubing during sessions.

What are my options for computer control/automatic edging/partner control/video sync/VR sync?

NimbleStroker Computer control is promised but not available yet. Their focus is currently on the chassis redesign, manufacturing, and shipping initial units.

E-Stim Remote e-stim is easier. Estim System's Series 2B power box comes with support for an optional addon that enables full internet remote control. Alternatively, you can just feed the output of Skype (or whatever) into your power box's audio input, for boxes that support this.

Additionally, the NimbleStroker is going to offer an insertable clench sensor that will stop stroking and stimulation when the lucky user is close.

What are the differences between the milking sensations provided by the Venus and the SeriousKit?

In short, the Venus provides you with more of a stroking sensation, whereas the SeriousKit gives you more of a suction-release action.

The Venus's liner expands and contracts as the air pump drives it, and the vacuum created by the one way valve provides the suction for the receiver. It strokes you up and down in one smooth motion, much like a sine wave.

The SeriousKit on the other hand alternates between vacuum and atmospheric pressure inside the receiver. There is a vacuum pump connected to the machine, and it uses a pulsator that essentially switches the inside of the receiver between no suction and full suction from the vacuum, much like a dairy milking machine would. There is no smooth transition between full vacuum and none, think of it as a square wave.
